Meditation practices has been around since the beginning of human existence and it is a natural and normal experience. There are many misconceptions about the practice – of which the notion that its just a “sitting around” process and you are “opening yourself up” for ominous things. This can not be further away from the truth.
Instead of focussing on misconceptions, I would like to list some of the amazing benefits I have come to see from my daily meditation practices.

- Enhances energy, strength and vigour
- Helps increase clarity
- Increases serotonin which influences moods and behaviour. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression, headaches and insomnia.
- Creates a state of deep relaxation and general feeling of wellbeing.
