Leonie Jordaan started her career as an Occupational Education Specialist in the corporate world. She transitioned to a change management consultant who facilitates workplace equity and deals with the mediation and education of staff and management to create equitable workplace conditions. While working in corporate, she started questioning the conventional “training” of the human mind. For some reason it did not help employees to really engage in their workplace and reach their optimum potential.  She noticed that training yielded a mechanical ‘doing’ instead of facilitating a deep intrinsic change in the individual. It also changed very little of people’s external
circumstances. She started a 10-year long journey to search for alternatives.

 

Most training modalities completely lack the handing down of tools that would empower the individual. Training programmes with have a short life span in terms of the momentum and change it create – often not exceeding 2 weeks and all the training is forgotten. The challenge is to empower the individual from deep within to build or maintain the change they seek. For this, you can not only resort to the mechanical vocational training of the mind. Humans are holistic beings and come to the workplace with all sorts of deeply engrained emotional and spiritual perspectives.

 

Leonie experienced a chance encounter herself by receiving the Life Activation. Upon seeing the results in her own life, she started to investigate further development possibilities on this new path. This led her to discover the teachings and healing modalities of the Modern Mystery School, she spent the next nine years to qualify herself to be able to offer many of these life transforming modalities.

 

Sumika means “let there be light’ in Sanskrit and the center grew from her passion to see people grow and manifest their true power and abundance in their life. In 2013, she and her husband started this sacred healing space to allow people from all walks of life to find their personal next level in life. Together they form a formidable and diverse team, complementing each other’s gifts and modalities while both being active in the corporate world as they both run and integrate their corporate business with their spiritual practices. Ben is a gentle intuitive healer and he has a special gift in working with woman who come from neglected and abused backgrounds.

 

Leonie is a born passionate teacher and public speaker. She is a compassionate healer with many talents, of which her incredible manner of making people feel inspired to transform, is her strongest. She is a gifted intuitive and will guide individuals with integrity. Being a parent herself, she is passionate about helping parents work past obstacles to improve their spiritual legacy to their children on this earth.

 

Her specialties include: Empowerment Workshops, Baby Blessings, Modalities that awaken dormant potential in the individual like the Life Activation and Full Spirit Activation, House/Land clearings and Exorcism modalities.

 

In her free time she is an avid photographer and a visual capturer of souls and hearts in her business Soulburst Photography where she specialises in creating and capturing Soulportraits™.

Ben started his career as a Winemaker in 2001 and was responsible for Kumala – South Africa’s biggest export wine brand at the time.

 

During his corporate career, he started asking some fundamental (and life changing) Kabbalistic questions of: Who am I? What am I? Where am I going? Where do I come from? What is my purpose?

 

These questions led him on a path of self-discovery and enlightenment about his limitless power and ability to serve not only himself, but humanity in a way that is true to the Light.

 

Like all good husbands (wink …), he followed in his wife’s footsteps who introduced him to the teachings of the Modern Mystery School in Canada which, to this day, is the only Mystery School that is open to public applicants.

 

This journey led him to finding a deeper meaning, passion, joy and direction in his life. He knew there was more to discover about his eternal potential. As result, he qualified himself to offer a number of healing modalities to help others find their way to their own inner peace.

 

Ben joined Sumika Soul Spa as part-time practitioner in January 2015.

 

His specialities include healing modalities like the Life Activation (also known as DNA Activation), Full Spirit Activation, Purpose of Life Reading, Shamanic Aura Healing, Tree of Life Healing, Essential Oil Healing, Laser Light, House/land clearings and Purifications.

 

He is motivated by the following quote:

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
