Day 13 – Lock Down Diaries

 

CREATING ORDER AND BEAUTY

One of my teachers once told me: “Leonie, you can create order out of any chaos.” And for a magician – that is a very big compliment. “Leonie, you have such a great personality.” Not as much! I don’t have an “easy” personality, so luckily I don’t get the latter a lot!

But I’ll happily take the first one!

Where there is darkness and evil – there is usually chaos.  That is how evil keeps its power.

I have decided to live my own protest or revolution against COVID-19 – by creating order and beauty.

My silent protest consist of:

• cooking
• spending time with my family
• gardening
• decorating my home
• de-cluttering
• exercise
• sleeping as much as I feel my body asks (without feeling guilty)
• getting massages
• prayer
• ritual
• needlework
• alone time with my partner (connecting and working as a team)
• writing poetry
• painting
• designing social media campaigns
• sorting our recipe books
• shooting & editing photos
• designing concepts for photoshoots
• designing a new exciting spa menu for Sumika

 

To name but a few of the things that gets my juices going!  I know I am not scared of dying but I do know that I love creating something every minute that I am alive! Today I am filled with gratefulness for the opportunity that I received to create a new flow and rhythm for my home. I can’t wait to receive beautiful Gods and Goddesses in my space and to treat them like the absolute royalty that they are!
